The Business Foundations Accelerator is designed for startups that are tackling the largest challenges in the country’s most critical social sectors of:

Programme Overview

The programme includes a series of workshops – these, typically five-day engagements, will provide you with the training to develop your business model, financials, pitch, sales pipelines, and other aspects of your business.

You will also receive one-on-one time with mentors, industry experts, investors, top local business leaders, and potential customers.

In partnership with COSTECH, this programme has been made available for FREE to successful applicants living in Lindi or Mtwara, Tanzania.

Criteria to join

Before applying, please ensure that you meet the criteria listed below:

Sector
We work exclusively with startups that operate within Tanzania’s five most critical social sectors, that is Education, Healthcare, Clean Energy, Agriculture and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH).

Size/Stage
Your businesses should be more than an idea – you should be post-prototype. You should ideally also have revenue traction (post-revenue).

Age
Currently open to entrepreneurs & business owners 21 – 35 years.

Commitment
Because the programme involves making strategic and operations decision that impact the entire business, its required that a senior member of the business team attend (CEO, CFO, etc.), and make themselves available for all workshops for the duration of the program.
