Anza is a Tanzanian organization that provides entrepreneurs the capacity, capital and community they need to thrive via the Anza Accelerator, Growth Fund and Anza Hub spaces.

Our services assist entrepreneurs to strengthen their operations, increase profitability, and scale their social impact to create more jobs and improve access to underserved markets. Anza is also actively engaged in shaping and maturing the Tanzanian innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem. In addition to selling our services directly to entrepreneurs, Anza also provides business development services to entrepreneurs connected to our partner organizations, such as MEDA, CARE and Aga Khan Foundation, as they also share our belief in supporting entrepreneurs.

Job Description

We are looking for a self-starter to manage a complex of space for startups, small businesses, and freelancers bringing a lasting impact to our work. This person will be responsible for maximizing our occupancy through sales techniques and outstanding customer service, maintaining an extraordinary sense of community, running the day-to-day operations of the space, developing creative local marketing strategies, and planning engaging member events. Successful candidates must navigate fast-paced and resource-constrained environments with enthusiasm, patience, and imagination.


  • Facilitating outstanding customer service 
  • Devise and execute local marketing strategies to generate leads 
  • Conduct sales tours to execute on sales strategy and maintain high occupancy at the coworking and living space
  • Managing community initiatives designed to develop member relationships 
  • Inputting and maintaining accurate data across various platforms 
  • Overseeing and executing daily office operations 
  • Liaison with community team on building operations and maintenance 
  • Client management of community members


Requirements for this Position


  • Degree in Marketing, Entrepreneurship Development, Business Administration, Economics, IT, Informatics or any other related field
  • Fluent in English and Swahili is key
  • Must be based in either Moshi or Arusha
  • Graphics Design knowledge is an added advantage

Skills & Abilities

  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong presentation skills including an ability to prepare reports, newsletters and informational bulletins
  • Ability to adapt to situational changes with ease and work under stressful environment
  • Must have strong verbal and communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills 
  • Ability to connect well with people and build rapport; warm and approachable 
  • Reliable team player, inquisitive and patient 
  • Enjoys continuous change and improvement 
  • High hustle quotient: willing to get your hands dirty as necessary to move fast and get things done 
  • Self starter who has the ability to work independently
  • Prior leadership experience is a plus
