ClimateLaunchpad: The Green Business Ideas Competition

Applications for 2020 are now closed

Thank you to all of you who submitted your green startups and ideas! We are currently screening and shortlisting the applications (no easy task) and will be in touch soon to let you know who will be joining us for the online bootcamp.

ClimateLaunchpad is the world’s largest green business ideas competition.

Do you have a start-up or even just an idea for a business that can address climate change?

Your idea could be in renewable energy, reducing food waste, reducing the use of non-renewable resources, improving transport efficiency, or any number of other possibilities!

What can I win?

Seven teams in Tanzania will be selected to join the ClimateLaunchpad Boot Camp and coaching sessions. These sessions will help you to perfect your pitch, value proposition and business model in preparation for the National Final.

The top two teams from the National Final will go on to compete in the Global Grand Final where you can win up to € 10,000, plus direct access to the renowned EIT Climate-KIC accelerator.

COVID19 Update:
We are happy to announce that despite the COVID19 pandemic the ClimateLaunchpad 2020 competition will be going ahead. For the first time the competition will be carried out entirely remotely, making it more accessible than ever!
