In partnership with the Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH) we’re excited to launch the the Startup Capacity Building Programme for Youth Entrepreneurs.
Created for startups from Arusha and Moshi that are tackling the largest challenges in the country’s most critical social sectors of:
Water, Sanitation & Hygiene
The programme includes a series of workshops – these, typically five-day engagements, will provide you with the training to develop your business model, financials, pitch, sales pipelines, and other aspects of your business.
You will also receive one-on-one time with mentors, industry experts, investors, top local business leaders, and potential customers.
Criteria to join
Before applying, please ensure that you meet the criteria listed below:
In order to attend the workshops you must be based or able to travel frequently to one of Anza’s Hubs in Arusha or Moshi.
The Capacity Building Program aims to work with startups that operate within Tanzania’s five most critical social sectors, that is Education, Healthcare, Clean Energy, Agriculture and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH).
Your businesses should be more than an idea – you should be post-prototype. You should ideally also have revenue traction (post-revenue).
You should be aged between 21 – 30 years.
Because the programme involves making strategic and operations decision that impact the entire business, its required that a senior member of the business team attend (CEO, CFO, etc.), and make themselves available for all workshops for the duration of the program.
For all the businesses within the programme in partner with COSTECH, there will be no fee charged for participation. Lunch will also be provided.
